About

The Bits ‘n Bites blog is my digital container for thoughts and musings on the intersection between food and technology. I’m a graduate of NWCAV. Though I don’t work in the industry (Tried it for a while. Loved the work, couldn’t afford the pay), I’m keeping up my skills with Daring Kitchen challenges and trying out new recipes all the time.

Thanks for dropping by. :)

  8. Hi,

I just wanted to inform you that we’ve put together a list of Canadian
food blogs and have included yours. Please have a look and let us know if
you’d like any information to be changed. When you have a minute come check out other Canadian blogs like yours! Link: http://www.pho411.ca/blog/list-of-canadian-food-blogs/

I’d like to take this time to also ask for your support by adding us to
your blogroll or links section, if you have one. That would be very much
appreciated! We are: Broth Don’t Lie http://www.pho411.ca/blog/

About Broth Don’t Lie: BDL is a blog about Vietnamese food. We aim to
inform all Canadians about different Vietnamese dishes that they could try
at their local Vietnamese restaurants. We also have a goal of reviewing all
Vietnamese restaurants in Canada. We hope to put together a database of
restaurant reviews that all Canadians could refer to when they feel like
trying a Vietnamese restaurant. If you are interested in lending us a hand
with this project, please feel free to contact us.

  9. Invitation to Check Out Beer and Butter Tarts/Canadian Food Blog Awards

    Hello,

Apologies for the intrusion, but we came across your blog and thought that you might be interested in checking out a website that promotes Canadian food bloggers.

Beer and Butter Tarts (www.beerandbuttertarts.com) is an aggregator site created to drive traffic to individual food blogs. It’s free to join and we won’t add your site without your permission. But it is a great way for people to find new and interesting Canadian food blogs, and for food bloggers to attract more traffic to their own sites.

While you’re there, please check out the info regarding the Canadian Food Blog Awards. We felt it was time that Canadian food bloggers were recognized for their great writing efforts, and have put these awards together to further promote food bloggers in Canada. Nominations begin on November 21st, 2010.

Thanks for taking the time to read this – we hope you’ll drop by and check out the site.

    Regards,
    Sheryl Kirby & Greg Clow
Administrators, Beer and Butter Tarts/Canadian Food Blog Awards

    • Hi,

Thanks for the offer, but no, I’m not interested in joining your aggregator site.

      Wishing you the best,

      Liz

  10. Hi there,
